In 1998, Jimmy Morales left a coveted Radiation Safety position to follow God's calling into full-time ministry. God used Jimmy and his wife, Kathy, and their three children to begin a new work of His Spirit in northwest Las Vegas. Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain was birthed with about 20 adults meeting in a middle school cafeteria. By "simply teaching the Word of God simply", CCLM has grown to over 800 adults in only 8 short years. As senior pastor, Jimmy is well known for his unique teaching style and his God-given ability to make the Scriptures come alive and be applied to every aspect of life. Pastor Jimmy loves the calling God has placed upon his life and he continually gives all the credit and glory of this ministry to God alone.
