Welcome to Women of the Word (WOW) website.

The purpose of WOW is to minister to the women of Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain (CCLM) through various venues. Our desire is to see women grow in their knowledge of the Lord, be faithful and fruitful in their service to God, and increase their ability to make Jesus known to a lost and dying world.

Through prayer and the study of the Word, we want our WOW women to be effective for the Kingdom, no matter what phase of life they are in or what their circumstances may be.

To be able to shine God's love and light into the darkness is a direct result of abiding in Jesus and studying His unfailing Word. We place great emphasis on these two components of the Christian life: prayer and the Word. Far too many Christian women barely scratch the surface of what God has for them. They live their lives without the joy, the peace, and the focus that God desires for them to possess. Consequently, their lives lack the power of the Holy Spirit, and instead of reflecting Jesus, they unfortunately look like the rest of the world.

At CCLM, we desire that women learn to diligently seek God and embrace His perfect will for their lives. Women who are active in WOW are committed to knowing Jesus and making Him known. There is much work to be done for the Kingdom in Las Vegas. Together, let's meet the spiritual needs of the women that God has placed in our lives.

We invite you to come grow in grace and wisdom with us as we pursue more of Jesus. We, as women of Calvary, desire to live the abundant life now, here on earth, and have a powerful impact in our homes, relationships, workplaces, community, nation, and the world. Come join us and be a part of a loving and growing church doing mighty exploits for Jesus in these last days.
